Ole' Man Winter Poem by Daniel Miltz

Ole' Man Winter

Ole' Man Winter here
In big way already
Winter upon us near
Leaves have fallen steady

Air grows shivery cold
Blustery winds bring snow
So deep, all things a fold
Like a sudden flash glow

As we gaze out window
Bright sun in blue yonder
In a velvet sky show
Shed no warmth; we ponder

We a look, we a long
For radiant foil'ge scent
Waking the landscape strong
Heralding fanfare 'vent

We a wrap ourselves warm
Like shivering cocoons
During bone chilling storm
Days, nights and afternoons

We a feel, overjoyed
Knowing New Year ahead
Bring good tidings, deployed
Inspiring moments said
