Old Timer Poem by Norah Tunney

Old Timer

Rating: 5.0

Old Timer

Just another old man
lost in the bar
in the solitude
of his thoughts.

Big quiet eyes
stilled my life's storms,
bearded silver stubble
tired of growing,
our eyes meet
and smile.

Then-
magnetic words
enhanced by time
revealing the wonder
of another
stranger, friend,
i am inspired
and in your being
i am redeemed
