Love the poem. But it's tragic that Old Stan never got to know his children. The great American poet Rod McKuen had searched all his life for his father. And never found him to the day he died.

Yes I can relate to this poem I am only 50 but I try to stay in perfect shape and my girlfriend is 23 and I can't remember when I went out with a girl my age.I don't look for young girls they find me.I don't pretend to be young I just am.The only time I am reminded of my age is when some one my age complains about me not spending all of my time being sedate in front of a T.V. with an older not so attractive woman like they do. I know we get older but I won't force myself to act like older people I have seen I just act the same as I always have.I don't feel older.... Yet....Good poem.
