Frank, thank you for taking the time to read my work; i find interesting that when we read poetry-we each get our own idea of what the writer is really writing about. Guess, your summation of this write could be spot on- but i truly wasn't writing about the state of affairs in the USA...although, i do agree, we are a mess. This write was written - more as a personal note about the Hell that some of us are made to go through in our lives- and hopefulness that we can overcome it.Believe in the Golden Rule- Do unto others as we would have them do unto you Also, believe in Karma. My life has been a series of lesson's well learned- and served to wake me up about people. Believe it or not i was once quite naive....Anyway, thank you again for reading my work. You are so appreciated.

Well, Theo...You just morosely yet masterfully(and accurately) summed up exactly what we have dealt with, without any resolve...and continue to deal with, the same...I love my country, but I swear that in large that our self & special interest leaders have continued to drop the ball on OUR feet...And I'm talkin' both sides of the aisle, here! I think you and me should take a run at 2016? Surely we could do no worse...and judging from your above pen-gem...you seem to have a better handle on many of the critical issues....so, you're going to run for President and I'll be your loyal running mate V.P.......because I know for certain that I can laugh, tell stories and disappear just as good as Joey B.!
