Old Man Waiting Comments

It's funny how your poems are about men but the sentiments are man/woman, particularly as we age. In this one, it's wonderful how you show what seeing really is- not necessarily what's in front of our faces and has a name, not a Webster's Dictionary denotative exactness, but a connotative olio of experiences, emotions, remembrances.

Old age is so beautifully depicted here. Memories make up a huge part of an old man's life.
