I thought this was an extraordinary piece of writing- -fresh way of describing the old man's face]]]]The face is gnarled and full of wear, The eyes are pools of gathered time, - - - - - the poem is full of inspired lines like these. Excellent work. And the poet's note did not subtract from its value
