Old And Happy Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Old And Happy

Old and Happy

I am old and happy,
The long road is ending,
Will start my trip…

No answer,
To where, why,
No reply to the how!

I feel sad deep inside,
About what is to come,
For the poor who arrive!

Had a chat with the goat,
She spoke of her life:
"I am not like mankind."

Thanks to her, I spoke,
With the earth and sky,
With a river, snow-ice.

"Live in peace, harmony."
Each one said, went to live,
Then returned, explained:
"Unlike you, you, mankind."

Looked at me in a mirror
Saw myself with horror:
"What am I, a mankind? "

Yes, we have destroyed,
The seabed to space,
In the name of science!

Now, we eat plastic,
In the meat, water, fish,
Around us, most are sick,
From what does mankind,
See the depth; life stinks!
