Unwelcome feelings when one becomes old is very well described in the poem which we have to tackle.
Thanks for reading and your understanding comments on the poem Akham they're much appreciated but I think 'old age' isn't really the problem here, it's the sense of feeling old due to a medical condition that has caused a disability to come on.

I find humor to be my best friend when contemplating old age George. Let me suggest one of my recent poems on the subject...'Am I on my last legs? ' I just turned 80 myself (in January!)
