I so agree that it can be a bag full of troubles depending whether you have family who loves you or not or a spouse who is still dedicated to you. Often people who are fortunate to stay married for over 40 years have much dedication toward each other which makes growing old together a true Blessing. I would think going to Heavens gate at an old age would also be a Blessing leaving the woes of earth behind which became difficult due to lack of mobility and possibly the build up of stress. Now your first stanza I for sure disagree with as I'm an old woman and do not consider myself a bowl no man wishes to use. Fortunately for me, God is good and though I was married for over 40 years, after the death of my husband five years later another man desired me and set out to win my hand and he did, we enjoyed each other and had so much fun together in our old age and he left me to go home a happy man. Awww my friend, love is always in the air and even old age if one stays positive and open will realize that, there's always someone to love. Further I think we all need to remember no human being was ever meant to be used...Peace...love and Light.....
