Reading this reminds me of the masquarade that Chinua Achebe narrated in him novel Arrow of God.
Least of all, it reminds me of the long unsettled arguements about whether masquarades are truely 'ancestors' or merely 'lazy youths'. Thanks for this. Keep writing.
