They've committed yet another crime.
For they've stolen my garden furniture,
And they've gone too far this time.
Last week it was my fish-pond,
And my costly outdoor jacuzzi too.
They magically spirit them away,
There's only one thing I can do...
So I've bought myself a guard dog,
A big black beastie to be most feared.
But when I awoke the next morning,
He and my back garden had disappeared!
when I awoke the next morning, He and my back garden had disappeared! ... in sleeping and dreaming everything was present but in awakening everything is too far reaching

Shaun you made me smile on otherwise boring day Bravo! And thanks for the five surprises yesterday
Leeann thanks for your kind comment and always warmly welcomed comments. And a smile costs nothing in life and a laugh or two are priceless. And those five surprises were the least I cold bestow, for your poems Leeann, your finely crafted and beautifully presented poems I will always enjoy reading and rereading. Take care and I wish you and the loved ones around you the very beast this life and poetry has to offer.
