oh come oh come
hosts of heavenly angels
oh come
Cherubim and Seraphim
come
the child is lying
dying
gather round
spread your guardian wings
and fend off death
one more time
Elohim
one more time
.
oh come oh come
Raphael and Gabriel
oh come
bring the Glowing Ones
come
do not leave her
to face alone
the dark
and fearsome face
of the
boatman
waiting there
at the edge of her bed.
.
oh come oh come
all angels of light and life
oh come
ye of The Golden Dawn
come
hold her close
to your snowy breast
and sing your heaven
down to our earth
and save her
one more time
Elohim
one more time
.
oh come oh come
Emmanuel
she lies
so still
and
pale
oh come oh come
and stay death's
dark and greedy hand.
oh come oh come
Guardian Angels all
and guard
this child
throughout
this
long
dark
winter's
night.
.

A well crafted poem So engaging and powerfully expressed. To my Poem List.
Very inspiring lines that fuel us to believe in His power and conquer what is unconquerable. Liked the recurring lines. Very powerful.
