I found these words hand written: - We have careful thoughts for the stranger and smiles for the sometime guest; But oft for our own, the bitter tone, though we love our own the best. On a scrap of paper among photos and papers being thrown out after a great Aunts death, it had been written by her mother possibly after a family tiff. I find it so true.
