Where the dearth of laughter looms.
Of what use, that pricy smart phone
When silence answers thy call.

Hi Rekha, A beautiful poem, but containing a strong message. Let me quote: Of what use, that zipping career When a child forlorn, pines for thy hug. In the rat-race called career building, all of us forget to live our lives, to care for our loved ones. To return their love. To remember our mothers, we need a Mothers' Day. What a pity! Very nice poem. Poignant. Thank you for sharing.100+

The anatomy of your lovely poem emphasizes 'love'......the bounty and plenty don't have any meaning if there is scarcity of 'love' in any system........the crux of your poem is so touching...

Very philosophical read with a satirical tone Dear Rekha. I loved the style of the read and the theme is very contemporary. We have time for everything except for ourselves and the family. We do everything yet ignoring its essence. Very beautifully penned! Thanks for the share!

Dance in the rain, Bask in the sun Let those happy spirits reign! Kiss your loved ones, hold them tight. this is the essence of love and life......what is the use of having all material wealth? . A great search for love, spirituality, God, only can make us satisfied. We are created to search for love. Let love reign........ a great poem in deed.

Lovely blend of philosophy and spirituality in a well articulated piece of poetry, elegantly penned in good poetic diction with insight. Indeed as one pursues material things, one mustn't lose sight of what money cannot buy. Lovely food for thought. Thanks for sharing Rekha. Please read my poem POETIC MASTERPIECE.
