History repeating in the present times over and over. I hope that algorithm in social media allows for the perception of equal voices and that standing up for democracy is not just a virtual phenomenon.

A brilliant write... the concept of democracy is tersely presented....5 stars

Thank you, Dillipji. Democracy needs more definitions now, because the world now leans towards far right. And ‘far right' is not Right.

We have seen what happened in the US. We fear of similar hazards in India.

Democracy demands utmost vigilance from every citizen, even a young child. We have to remember, Hitler usurped power on the Post-WW I Germany, in the name of democracy, perfectly in accordance with the prevailing constitution. What happened afterwards is history.

This is constructive power. We need to understand whether we are in the spell of destructive power or are we in our own control and executing constructive power.

Thank you Varshaji. Unless everybody is vigilant, democracy is bound to fail, as it has time and again in our neighbourhood country

Contd...the one we see in monarchy, bussiness etc..the other one is to know what is happening but allowing others yo learn you give them freedom only interfearing if some harm is perceived....contd..

This is profound piece. Indeed democracy when it was introduced was to make every one feel they are somebody. To regain their self-confident. The power has two aspects one to rule by suppressing others. This is destructive power.... contd..
