Shadow and light, what an intricate game they play, always so close yet never together. Lovely poem, Kesav.10 in the light of day or in the shadow's that it casts.

Don't trust the shadows.............they 're like silver screen. You can see life on there, but they're not real! Short but complete.so i give a 10.

An optimist is a person who sees only the lights in the picture, whereas a pessimist sees only the shadows. An idealist, however, is one who sees the light and the shadows, but in addition sees something else: the possibility of changing the picture, of making the lights prevail over the shadows. Not trusting the shadows... How true to say they change shape every now and then... Wonderful subject in the poem. Thank you.

Sometimes what is real appears unreal and what is unreal appears real, thus creating an illusion before our eyes. The sun rises in the East and sets in the West, but it is unreal as the sun does not do so.We don't see the air, but it is real as we can feel it. A shadow on the moon creates a feeling of waxing and waning of the moon, which is unreal. Trust not the shadow is a good theme taken here.

This is so true. Without the light of day and sun rays our world is very bleak indeed! Nice way of puting it. Keep writing. Best Wishes, Marilyn

What a contrast so well established. You bring out the subconscious from the unconscious in just a few words. Well done!
