I feel the sweat, and I see your face wrinkled and weary. I've done some roofing, enough to know what you're talking about. Taking those shingles up the ladder one bundle at a time draped over my right shoulder. I remember how it felt when it was cold enough we had to chip the ice off the roof and lay down shingles that were stiff as a board. I'd swing my hammer to drive that short roofing nail into the shingle but hit my thumb instead. I respect you, Bill, very much.

thanks...dad grandpa many others I have know. mostly gone now. old school means a lot to me.
