Am truly enthralled by your heroic epic, Sir Pope

The epic was inspired, I believe by true incident.

A critical and frank review of Pope's Rape of lock. I admit, I didn't read that book more than two pages.........But your work is too great to describe. Beauty.
this work is more than a tribute to the great poet Sir Alexander Pope...this is a classical poetic review too...nicely composed, Mamta...with a lot of imagination and zest...thanks...10
mamtaji a suberb and befitting ode to the great poet... full justice there and well interjected refs.... i recall from the bard the evil that men do, lives long after them but the good is oft interred with the bones....with an apology to the purists great piece cheers and ten
A very well crafted poem Mamta ji! This poem was in our college text during the first year! A few young people had requested me for guidance & comments, and I had recommended Pope to insipre their rhyming sense! And one young boy amongst them, had even featured in PH's 'First 500', along with Pope, Keats and Shakespeare himself! So good old Pope must be really great? ! 10 + -Raj
I'm sure Sir Alexander Pope would have turned speechless in his grave. A wonderfully written piece with excellent rhyme and flow.
An interesting depiction here... A lot heard and read about this comic epic An arrow at the plank of trendy society Becomes famous history at the cost of pope's critic Cut off a lock of hair.... and the morale of then society. Belinda's cry... when... could occupy the whole space Then obvious... the culprit becomes part of history. Without getting much deeper into the glitch.. your credit to the poet, Is worth reading, many a times.
