Of Injured Animal Poem by james watkin

Of Injured Animal

Who's pained cry, tree-shaking
Ailing terror, exposed
In the wild for the life-tamed
When not but else supposed
Unheard, unseen does go, O Lord!
You're its hand; you're its heart.
Into which care, omnipresent
Pray such are placed; and smart.
