the ultimate price
cop paid, as.car went haywire.
how can one be wise?
in split second, when the tyres
climbed divider, it was dire.

opposite traffic
doesn't welcome intruders.
to crash cop was jinxed.
and died at wheel, law minder.
his age was.sadly tender.

on opposite lane
a car, a law abider,
bore impact, its bane
three injured, now off danger
of.fate, there are no masters
