I can and cannot,
Lie against and be lied to;
I live a life once
But keeps dying my own life as I live.
I cannot and can do
Silly things that turns me a Billy.
Of all that you can do
So, I too.
Of all that you cannot do,
I suppose I and you can,
But only seems we haven't tried.
Of all visible visions lost
That a seeing does not see
Yet a blind can find;
I cannot but can help bring
Maybe a ladder later
When one fails to fetch with shillings.
Of all peace that freedom offers,
I can & cannot get that of a dictator.
Of all that I cannot write
Surely, I can only speak about that.
Given all those past lessons
We can but cannot unlearn.
I found a meaningless life,
I lost a meaningful death
Because I can only live
But cannot ressurect!
If I can and cannot do a thing,
Believe it or not, I can do nothing.
For I am a strong man
I fight that fear
Against no one but for every anyone.
Of all that I can and cannot
I can that can
And cannot what cannot.
So, of all things of can and cannot
Can and cannot,
Just know that they cannot
And they can.
