As friendship has no barriers of caste, creed or religion and as it is bound on love infinite, every right friend will triumph at the end despite the adversity or odd happenings that precede. Kanav, as a master poet of thoughts and expression in true blend, you have made this a fine write and I am giving an immediate 10 for this beautiful piece that I would like to re read later....

We live to feel love in our hearts and to give love, to feel the pain of this fragile little bird as it dies in your caring hands is an impact of kindness and compassion! Beautifully written! !

Even such a simple sight as that of a dying bird can move the sensitive heart of a poet! So think of those who grieve over the death of someone dear or the parting of a pet that has been part of our life for a long time! If you had woken up a little earlier, perhaps you could have saved it! So make it a practice... early to bed and early to rise! !

wow, wonderful poem, you know how to write poetry.. bravo....little suggestion..do not repeat words or phrases...''as i opened my eyes '' omit it from the first line as you have used it in the 4th line, too...
