Are hell, heaven and purgatory ficticious places based on a lie
And are humans mortal life forms just born to live and die
I've pondered on these questions and my puzzlement at them grow
since I do not have the answers of such would I know?
Many believe in a God in heaven in his kingdom in the sky
Their rights to what they believe in of them none should deny
To their God in his heaven they often kneel to pray
Yet many of them fear the Reaper and many fear the Judgement Day.
Call me an atheist or agnostic or call me what you may
And if you call me an infidel with me that is okay
Your name tags will not harm me nor do I need your sympathy
And if I do not wish to judge you why are you judging me.
So far apart in thinking from many I have grown
But it took a wise one to say the words to each their own
Not true to God or Allah but to my own self I'm true
And of a life hereafter how would I have a clue.
