Odyssey Of The Unbound Poem by Alexander Romanov

Odyssey Of The Unbound

From the breath of hidden valleys we emerge,
Specters sailing on the bitter winds.
Beside me, shifting shadows surge,
My ship transforms, to mist it thins.

Through endless nights we journey on,
Unmoored, the stars our only guide.
Freedom's song without a dawn,
We roam the seas, the vast and wide.

We drape the days in crimson veils,
Our garments drenched in sunset's fire.
At dusk, the golden fabric pales,
We weave the heavens, strand by wire.

We are the souls that earth has kissed,
Close to those who sleep below.
Pierced by starlight's gentle mist,
Reflections in the eyes that know.

Alive, we float on seas of dreams,
We bathe in waves of turquoise light.
Dissolving where the silence seems
To birth the echoes of the night.

An endless line we form and fade,
Rewriting skies with every flight.
Immense birds through clouds cascade,
Still seeking home beyond the night.
