Odisha was formed on 1st April 1936 on the basis of Odia language. In 1954 Odia language was made as official language of Odisha by an Act. It is mentioned therein that in all or every official work Odia shall be used. But the state Govt is not using Odia anywhere and using foreign language though that is not there in the 8th Sch of the Indian Constitution. This poet was on hunger strike (fast-unto death) from April 1,2015 and again from 1st Julu to 8th july. The state govt. woke up but showed no reaction tilldate.
