A poem quite different from the ordinary poems on Fall ! So that stubborn leaf tenaciously clung to your rake, giving you heart ache! Enjoyed much! If you have time and will, I invite you to read my poem on falling leaves - As Autumn Runs its Round
what are the visiting hours at bellevue these days? or are you at university of south alabama medical center? do they let you have a knife with your supper? i sent this to MyPoemList. you suggested i look at your most recent submission but three share the same date so i guess i'll HAVE to read all three. i hope my baby's wet diaper isn't TOO irritating. several years ago as i walked along a residential street i watched a senior citizen raking a few leaves along the curb. there were plenty of leaves left on the trees and i thought to myself self, why is that old person bothering with so few leaves when plenty more are yet on the trees? [those weren't my exact words, but; i have embellished my speech for you poets] now, after almost ten years of retirement i have a better understanding. thanks for sharing. rhyming not needed here. and i learned plumber's crack only in the last few years also. isn't there a law against such exposure in your community?
