Truth is a worthy cause to live for;
to die for, for death does come in war.
'Tis a war raging 'tween dark and light;
there must be men to uphold what's right.
Valiant men have bled and nobly died;
living to rebuke words of those who've lied.
O! Noble man who was so cruelly silenced;
That his words might speak more consequenced.
The allies of evil, they scoff and gloat;
The fools! light and truth they never shall demote!
Silence truth, drown out the light, they've tried;
but lies of the living cannot bury the truth with those who've died.
Blood will flow in the cause of what's right;
Great men will fall who've lived in the light.
Remember the men who've fallen in these days;
who lived within the light of Christ, with kindness in all their ways.
