Goodbye,2024, how swift your time has flown,
With memories that now become the past?
As seasons changed and winds of change have blown,
We laughed, we cried, we hope our love will last.
Goodbye,2024, to every thing there is a season,
And a time to every purpose under heaven's dome.
Whether sinners or righteous, we embraced the reason,
In nature's arms, we found our shared home.
To all the joys and sorrows that we shared,
The triumphs and the struggles that swept by,
In lessons learned, in dreams that we dared,
We wove our stories beneath the vast sky.
The world was shaken by events unforeseen,
Yet we stood strong, our spirits intertwined,
With courage, faith, and love, we stayed serene,
Navigating shadows, our hearts aligned.
If it were not for you, what could have become of us?
The enemies who snitched falsehood,
The foes who squinted, eager to see us fall,
Yet you transformed our doubt to trust,
A witness to our strength, through it all.
Lord, thanks are not enough for the grace you bestowed,
Neither the thousand burnt offerings nor the words we say,
For what you've done cannot be measured or owed,
In every heartbeat, your essence will stay.
As we bid farewell to your numbered days,
We hold fast to the memories we made,
For they will forever be our guiding rays,
In times when we feel lonely and afraid.
Goodbye,2024, with bittersweet sorrow,
Yet we welcome 2025 with open hearts,
For new beginnings and a brighter tomorrow,
With hope, we'll embrace whatever life imparts.
So now we raise our glasses in a toast,
To the year that's gone and to the one to come,
May our love and strength never be lost,
As we journey on, till the battle is won.
Farewell,2024, with grateful hearts we part,
But your legacy will forever live on,
In the memories we hold and the love in our heart,
Goodbye, dear year, till we meet again at dawn.
