We were a pair of oddities
With our own quirks and eccentricities
We spoke in riddles and rhymes
We texted in codes and signs
We met in strange places and times
We fought over trivial matters and crimes
We loved our weirdness, it was sublime
Until reality came and shattered our chimes
Everything was weird, but not our demise
Only our breakup was real, and it hurt like a thousand knives..
