Was there ever a time like it? Youth and love - such a deadly wonderful combination. This is a very fine recreation of the excitement of the night. Obviously still a clearly etched memory when you manage to make it so vivid for the reader. How soon those special moments are over though, disappearing like flowers floating downstream.
