Wow for me this poem has exotic charms as to wintry imagery and the description is fabulously done poetically here. Ah 'squirrels gathering to gather nuts' nice show n tell visuals throughout. In wait for summer again as prologue to winter but I wish winter is sent to my hot place ah. Kudos, this is one of your best.

This is an absolutely wonderful description of the change in seasons. the line on the squirrel burying nuts then forgetting is a lesson to me to pay attention to details. Thank you David.
