Down among the deep, miles below
Within chilling inky darkness
Abide great monarchs of the sea
Giant monstrous squid and octopus
Blue whale hunting in the dark.
Ferocious battles with snapping jaws
Clash of giants struggling to survive
Fighting ends feasting on the loser.
Wrecks of ships sunk in storms and war
Cemeteries of sailors lost over centuries
Litter seabed giving fish shelter.
What mysterious unknown creatures
Dwell miles down among the deep
Pressure so great man cannot reach them?
