Ocean And Sky Poem by Vawlem Haidley Mungray

Ocean And Sky

You're my everything,
Beautiful as Spring's newborns,
Gentle as a goddess by her hearth.
Loving you feels like
Winning a thousand wars.

You're my everything,
Even beyond this mortal world.
We're like compass legs—
Drifted apart, yet always connected.

You're my everything,
I'm flesh, you're essence.
Every breeze carries your whisper,
Softly echoing through my soul.

Ocean and sky
Two halves of the same horizon.

You're my everything,
My winter and my shawl,
My summer and my rain,
My quiet nights and tender thoughts,
My success and delight.

You're my everything,
Living with me like a mirage.
I've grown in years,
But to you, I'm still
That shy little boy.
