Allen, I think you are a great promise, your thinking process is deep and revealing, do you know that everyone's mask is used for self expression? Yes, that is not an irony, deep inside the consciousness of everyone, is the desire for self expression and even the mask is expressive enough, sometimes, one needs companions, sometimes one needs solitariness and sometimes one needs to pour out the bottled up emotions in a literary piece. Yours tends towards masterpiece. Keep it up!

great! wonderful observation of human psychology! my masks started on purpose, I hid who I was from everyone including my family, but then...I got so caught up in the masks I forgot who I was behind the masks. It's been between two and four years since I lost myself, and I'm only just now finding myself again. Take note, everyone, and don't make the same mistakes I did!

yes at times we may knowingly or unknowingly become unaware of our own self so much so that that we don't realize what we are... critical examination of human behavior through a poem ...great writing! ! ! ! ! ! ! !

Very nice theme you had penned. I do wear both the masks but only thing I wonder about is which one I wear for long. Good flow; well thought; and beautiful expressed.

A really good one! We never want some kind of mask, but we can find masked faces floating around us now and then. Try to tell them from the nature and be ourselves always.
