Right on once again. Excellent poem with truth shining forth.Every life is a masterpiece of worth to be shared as you are the only you!
This is really a beautiful poem on life and death in the name of obituary having nice execution. Thanks for sharing.
(I posted the limerick as a new poem, and they didn't censor it there (YET) .
Why did PH censor my comment to Bri? That last line included the word W I L L Y in front of -nilly. Is it because the word W I L L Y is some people's slang for a man's favorite body part?
Kim is SO LAZY! ! (see below) i'd get out of bed (eventually) , alive or dead. I WOULD! ! ! Hank, i think your idea is marvelous, but why not let family decide what to do with it after your departure. and if your 'private one' is too silly, they can choose to write one for the Does to read. to MyPoemList. bri ;)
Hank's obituary is too silly (it was written by a hillbilly) so let's get his brother to write him another and be serious, and not -nilly.
I have known some people who did write their own obituaries, but then they put them in the paper to be read by everyone. Every morning I read the obituaries in the morning paper. If my name is not there, then I get out of bed!
I agree with you. It is a private matter.
