Beauty stills me like a pale white bloom
Embraces me like the emblematic moon
Beauty made me feel like a ragged moth
Dancing with a heart of empty self-dialogues
Beauty caught me in her mystic spell
By making me the peacock of her dell
Beauty and her blue elliptical eyes
Fed me on the eternal stars and skies
Beauty, beauty everywhere
O, why on earth does Envy care?
Beauty summoned me to her gala ball
Said I should betroth-my-heart-forevermore.
Beauty-whispered beneath a bower
Betwixt our hearts for one sweet hour
Beauty carved her soul out of sacrifice sake
Beauty would starve her heart with acrid tears
To drown, another, unlike heart
Beauty, beauty everywhere
O, why on earth does Envy care?
