Very nice poem and very very very nice poem I am in 5th class Thanku so much to write this poem
Nice piece of work. Thanks for sharing this poem with us. E.K.L.
Merry Xmas Helen... very cinematic.. I've just seen a mermaid having her fortune read.. xx
Pity about the mermaid. You would'nt have her phone no. would you? Seriously it's a well crafted poem that has enough of suspense to make it an exciting story-the mermaid bit only emerges at the end to keep us guessing again. Now we are wondering what was her romantic fate! .
A clever tail (oops tale) of destiny and desire...and all that the elements conspire...flows as seamlessly as water into water - superb UG! j xx
ne plus ultra of drifting petals caressing as they pass but pollens evasive companionship ala contraceptive “is like meeting …….” something Alanis said
This is so VERY clever Helen.... I love all the possibilities engendered here.... The water connection, the Earthyness and its connotations, fate suspicion.. And the subtle message of finding/landing the perfect one! Is there such an Animal? 10! rx
Poor mermaid, I enjoyed reading this so much, I am a believer in birth signs, and think people should find out if they are compatible but then again opposites attract lol 10 again, Lynda xx
A free flight of creativity on winged imagination. Thanks for sharing and do remain enriched.
