Hon’ble Sr. Poet Sir [Lynn Glover] Indeed I’m touched by your comment…and I’m less than half of your age and becoming apprehensive what next for us…? As world becoming more hedonistic and narcissist… Yes Sir I admit Prayers and sincere Prayers for our psychic sanitization is required…and it requires rigorous discipline [may be religious or self value oriented discipline] aiming at to be humane not human what already we’re. Utmost regards niv - Copy to Hon’ble Sr. Poet Sir [Lynn Glover]

Niv: I'm 75 years old and have always thirst for peace, sad to say I have never experienced it. We will continue to pray for peace, with your poem maybe it will come. Lynn

Peace Peace Peace…where it is? Who’ll give? Where to get? From whom we can get? Plagued by these questions since time immemorial…everyone. Poet has analyzed nicely human instinct, ‘Narconecrotic Narcissism’ The basic stigma baffling to quench Thirst of Peace. Stoicness and slumber ‘blotted’ in ‘me’ ‘I’, ‘mine’ ‘myself’ standing like Chinese wall … ‘Hah ha woeful we’re not! ’ hammering conclusion indeed. Thanks for such a cerebrate poem…let us ponder to just expand heart a little broader 10 Dr. V.

It is generated Thirst …artificially created Thirst …well engineered / programmed Thirst…since dawn [of before] civilization…as we seldom try to travel [read expand] beyond our own ‘wee self’ … I agree with Wee Reader ‘…Everywhere is drought/Hah ha woeful we’re not! ’ It’s a ‘Sarcastic Hammer’ and well posed in comments…and it’s the bottom line and golden key to enter into morale of this poem… Will we? My sincere question/ memo to me too? ? AB 10+++ London

Agree with Poet Kesav-ji…last line is ‘Sarcastic Humor’… a little to add with humility ‘Sarcastic Hammer’ …if we wake up…from own-created slumber... It is very contemporary poem in this unrest world….where economic…ethnic…religious…etc…are soaring and hitting our civilization… A wake-up call …let not ‘Peace Be Thirsty’ … Excellent easel conceptualization and quote of Beatles is added poetic French fragrance … Enjoyed whole length and thanks … 10++

The last stanza lines read really good...sarcastic humour at its best...thirsty peace in a 'pot' with no 'wet' drops! Well, clever beautiful poetry...10

There is a song which reads, 'Where is peace? Where is peace? There I need a place to live in.' Perhaps, peace is available in the grave when we say, 'May his soul rest in peace.'

O’ Peace why thirsty? Where you’ll get a drop? ......... as the thirst dissipates being intoxicated life when lost to notch of Living yet faltering stark interior reasons to reason being void stuff of peace when changes by the time path tranquil seems trodden by narrowed feeling as steadiness leeches by filthy acids of greed and stockings by heart vociferates being drunk as the cup of milk replaces by hoary rungs of wine time when tolls rucks by money and matter do we ever believe sanctity being sacrileged? as new fangled young lings yet tired of honking of drops oh old monked peace go back to your home of repose..............most ingenious write by planking of peace yet with imagery and metaphors, amazing write,1110+++, thanks for sharing

Poet has conveyed retort riposte onrush and finally, ‘…Hah ha woeful we’re not! ’ In a poetic satire irony caustically ‘Hah...Hah’…its hush woe agony …for all… What deplorable images of our society portrayed and in vociferous way…. Sr. Poet John clearly expressed his very ripe, wise well-tailored in blatant way; I can't see any reversal in 'Society' that would give 'Peace a Chance' of Survival or Revival….’ And Sr. Poet Almeda Ma’am expressed, ‘Niv...thanks for your courage in speak out on issues that affect the human spirit...and mind.’ I request all readers to read at length the comments of Sr.Poet John Thanks for sharing eye-opening heartbreaking…poem…10+ for the spirit grit of poem... dr.sakti
