Was boldly addressing them.
To think right, to do the right
And to know themselves.

Truly speaking, you write well of Jesus, but the truth is he wouldn't like to be mourned, it was his destiny. From the angle you are coming from, Every thing you've said abt Jesus is right, he wouldn't even accept glory that's not due him. But there's a mystery abt Jesus that is revealed to the people of the book, that without absolute submission to the perfect will of God you may not see be revealed to you: that he's the son of God, savior of the world and the one that calls many into sonship.

Jesus will come again, this is the belief of Muslims and without believing in coming again of Jesus a Muslim is not a Muslim. We all love Jesus and message of love given by Jesus is direly needed by the entire world.

Yes, Amitava, the rhythm is more connected this time. More spiritual in nature and flowing easily from your heart's mind. Very personal and close to your heart in nature, and your poem speaks of this.

A moving and powerful tribute to Jesus and he still delivers his message across the world, to forgive, to love and to believe in God. True goodness will unite us all! !

A loving tribute to a man who chose to give up His life. It is hard to understand why this had to happen, yet more than 2000 years later, we remember Him, and many try to follow in His footsteps of doing good, loving our enemies, and forgiving those who wrong us. I believe this is the good that resulted from His sacrifice.... hence, the name Good Friday.

I like the sentiments expressed in this poem Amitava, you feel for the suffering Jesus went through and so refer to it. . But what you would like is a direct and personal friendship. If as we are told we are made in Gods image and likeness, that should be possible. A very good write.

When we look at Jesus's crucifixion from the human angle, this is how we feel. But remember, Christ was the son of God.... at once Man and God. If he wanted, he could have averted the crucifixion. But it was the will of God that His only son should die for the sins of the world... So we can say, his death was part of a divine scheme... Judas and the high priests just became instrumental in this great saga of sacrifice...! However Amitava, I am touched by your deep feeling for Jesus....! A moving write! !

This poem tells of the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. He was wounded for our iniquities and bruised for our transgressions. Through Him we will have eternal life. Thank you for your eye opener this Good Friday morning. Well done.

Yes, Amitava, I agree with Roseann. This is a beautiful heart touching write and very well done. However, I'm not a terribly big fan of religious poems for my own personal reasons. But yet I can't help but be touched by your lovely penning of this piece.
