I have visited Thiruavaiar in my youth. You have made a good translation of the psalm in Tamizh. I am a fan of Thyagaraja's 'kritis'. I believe the small house he lived in is still maintained. His 'samadi' is, of course, a centre for our classical music. I hope you can read my 'ode to Kavei', based on a song in a Tamizh epic. A. Madhavan
