A most fine and at the same time more than simply touching and caring. It's a sad reflection on today's so called modern and humane society that this problem, this human flesh and blood problem never seems to end or diminish over decades, What does that say about ourselves? 10++ and thank you Rose Marie and it should be chosen as Poem of the Day. And take care.

It takes a poet like you to write a piece can lead towards something positive towards refugees in general, especially when you have someone who supports you and extends a helping hand. Excellent poem Marie.

Even if someone grants them entry, they are cruelly discriminated. Though man is the crown of creation, the trials and hardships he has to face are enormous while birds and fish enjoy unlimited freedom. Birds can have the entire expanse of the sky as their territory. So is the case with fish. They can swim anywhere in the ocean. But a refugee is in frantic search for a shelter.

To be dispelled from one’s dear home, nation and familiar surroundings is the greatest torture a man can face in life. Those people who are made outcastes in their own country are cruelly thrown to the street all of a sudden! To find another home is the greatest challenge before them. No body is willing to open the door for them.

Though the poem begins and progresses on a sad note, it ends with an optimistic assurance that we are the beloved of God's creation destined to have supremacy over beasts and birds. Beautifully composed poem rich in meaning! Top marks+++++++!

But birds have the entire sky as their domain. They can fly anywhere or make nests anywhere they like. The same is the case with fish! They can swim freely in the vast expanse of the sea or ocean! Man is supposed to be the crown of creation and still the hardships he has to bear is huge.

Man is confronted with challenges and trials at every moment of life! To be expelled out from home, one's country and familiar surroundings is perhaps the greatest challenge a man can face! The people who are made outcasts in their own country wander aimless to get another home. But no one is ready to open the door for them! They are mercilessly denied entry. Even if allowed to stay, they are badly and cruelly discriminated.

We have unalienable rights That God gave to man At the creation That is why We have dominion over the Birds in the sky We have dominion over the Fishes in the sea.......touching expression with nice theme. A beautiful poem so nicely executed. For its beauty I made second visit. Thanks again.

Most countries find the refugee problem a vexed question. Australia, in particular, for a free policy creates a business model for people smugglers. Those evil people are responsible for hundreds of deaths at sea.

We as people are related to the first humans. Some moved out of Africa to other countries. Refugees but not bound by national boundaries, as today. The United Nations should take the running on allocations and not allow borders to be closed. No one owns the Earth it belongs to all.

Nationalism frames borders. We are all brothers and sisters from the first humans. However, stay in yur own home even if you can't. A powerful and excellent write.++10
