O For A Resurgence

O for a resurgence
Of our father's faith
A steadfast affirmation
In the Lord's...thus saith!
Seeing the day's at hand
For the Lord's soon return
Knowing multitudes still are lost
We pray to Christ they will turn

A genuine Godly repentance
Upon conviction of their sin
And then with a rejoicing telling thereof
Because of new found faith in Him
With a hungering to let others know
So they too may come to Christ
And know the joy of sins forgiven
Through Him who paid our ransom price

Where Hallelujah's have a home
In the heart of each one redeemed
And now above every other name
That name of Jesus Christ esteemed
Where as natural as is breathing
So is our desire to tell
About the love of God in Christ
Who doeth all things well

Touch our heart's dear Father
By Thy Holy Spirit
Bring us back to our first love
And to your Word? ...To hear it! ! !
Submitting our all to You
Daily to seek Your will
With a Divine resurgence as such
We will know Your...."Peace be still! "
