Yes I thought the rhythm was familiar and then I saw your note. Worthy of that great song. A beautiful lyric poem. Enhanced by your two quotes too. We should b never give up hope. Tom Billsborough

a very sad and deeply moving poem by someone who really feels the mounting loss of a loved one with the passage of time. But in the end it is only the living who can rejoin the dead when it is their time to depart this world. That is how I must reconcile my own grief

And Yet faith is notwithstanding, research answers, sincerely one can hope with the righteous man Job who declared, Job 14: 14 If a man dies, can he live again? I will wait all the days of my compulsory service Until my relief comes. One cannot deny the promise so clear and faithful even as he promised. John 11: 25 Jesus said to her: “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who exercises faith in me, even though he dies, will come to life.

Lovely poem of hope and love! Thank you for commenting on my poem The Hidden Room. There are certainly thematic similarities.

I've loved a hundred women beneath a million stars, yet never called one Venus or ever been a Mars, but if I was maybe sixty years younger I'd surely be tempted to up roots and come alookin' eh? From start to finish the verse was impeccable and evocative. Thank you for the tonic. Hugznstuff.

Sublime! Everlasting love never separated in the spirit, always together, the flesh longing for its embrace of the dear one. Living eternally as one in the sweetest embrace. Adeline, your writing is incredibly beautiful and speaks to the core. Thank you! Kasia
