Nursing A Broken Heart Poem by Lacie Hebert

Nursing A Broken Heart

In the silence of my room,
I whisper your name.
Echoes of our love,
now a flickering flame.

The shadows stretch,
reaching for my heart's sad refrain.
A melody of loss,
where only memories remain.

Underneath the moon's pale glow,
I walk alone, so slow.
Counting stars that seem to know,
my love's a no-show.

The night whispers secrets,
of a love that's fallen apart,
I'm just a lonely soul,
nursing a broken heart.
