Nurses, Doing What They Do Poem by Ray Hansell

Nurses, Doing What They Do

She sat there holding hands
With a man she'd never known
Just so he wouldn't feel
Like he was there all alone

This man she had never met
Nor would she even get to know
As she sat holding a strangers hand
She was doing, just what nurse's do
