Number Of The Beast Poem by John Fenton Mcleish

Number Of The Beast

They must dissect the bear
Or leopard apart will tear
Rebuild with digital cash
World in dollars awash

Ledger must be in black
Don't care who they attack
The only thing in red
Not ink but blood to shed

First second a game
Third is not the same
This time it's for keeps
For Carthage no one weeps

On the bench sits the beast
God rises in the east
Christ is in their house
Now Rome is full of louse

Who does call the shots
Schemes plans and plots
When only Jews can trade
And gentiles are forbade

John dreams a hexagram
It's those who burn the ram
