Very true and clear. One has a vivid picture in mind while going through this poem. There is far too much happening in the name of God...without realising what purpose will it solve? Your poem is a good reminder for us. GREAT! ! !

Intriguing thoughts and a very good idea of going back to the beginning. We need to stop talking and thinking about God like we humans are acting (killing, cannibalistic, waging wars in God's name, etc. If we talk about God sacrificing his own son, will we expect to do anything less?) We need to begin again to think and talk about the kind of God we would like God to be and one that inspires us to be fully and truly human in the best possible way. God is what we make him/her to be and then we act accordingly.

Excellent. This is so true. Men, under the guise of religion, go about wreaking havoc everywhere they go. They say, ' we do this in the name of god! ', and they perform every ignominious act they could think up. Every elder and religious leader should tell their followers about this - that none of man's atrocities could ever be redeemed by stating that it was done for the sake of religion. The sole reason for this is that religion, or whatever faith it is for that matter, was established for the benefit of mankind and for the promulgation of man's general welfare and wellbeing and not for ostracizing other religious minority groups. Keep up the good work.
