great homage to Marcel Duchamp. It's not X.J. Kennedy, but you have a very fine piece here, I added it to my favorites.
You are a great artitist indeed.. this again is a very imaginative work of art.. good, something different... love shan
You're so artistic and innovative in your works Ben.Woman descending a staircase, man ascends to their inner needs, to be honest.
Amazing work Ben.! Both visually and verbally. Words walk where they are supposed to and I would say this is the most creative visual I have seen on Poemhunter yet. Excellent! 10 Karin Anderson
Another beautiful piece from a beautiful heart.......You painted as well as Marcel did.
a big, big applause, Sir Ben.This is stunningly creative and you are a real artist.I love the way you paint this, and the graphics.
Great image very thought evoking! ! ! ! good form-a ten! ! !
Ben, Love your staircase. Great poem with very evoking imagery.
The increasing length of the caesuras attach a sense of anticipation to touch the divine. Excellent
Such clever use of form to create a full expression in this poem, and the lovely perception of the woman as divine beauty in motion.
beauty in nudity and nudity in beauty...that is what poets and painters want to see...the poem laddering down just as the lady in Duchamp's painting...but the beauty inside the poem ladders up with its every step down line...10/10
The artist wants to capture a meaningful image, it brings shape and content for us to decipher.
I have not seen the painting! Yet I appreciate the beauty of the painting! Lovely poem!
i've seen the painting, wicked sweet...i love the adoration of women in this one, especially, she's the artist, and teacher etc etc.10/10
Another brilliant poetic depiction of a painting...I love the artistic form that you have used....
