Thanks Kumarmani, Keep you in touch with my brave efforts to claim my couch back.
Dogs are not as good at pretending to be asleep as your Mr. Purry, . They hunch in anticipation of being told to get down. Tell me if you have any luck training the kitty-kitty to stay off your furniture. I never accomplished any such thing with my daughter's cats! That's why I like horses- -they don't get on my furniture. Well-trained, eh? I look forward to your poems- -they smile at me! Thank you for posting good humor and smart alec-ness on this site! !
The funniest time was when he decided to adopt my daughter's favourite chair. There was a real battle of wits. Every time she got up Purry moved at the speed of light to claim the nicely warmed seat. I think dogs have more conscience. Mr Purry just looks imperious. Presently he's back on the couch. When I'm good and ready I'll bring my secret weapon out of the Fridge, a great pile of Fresh Cooked Chicken! Peking Duck is quicker but fresh out of it. Prefers it without Hoisin sauce, the peasant!
