Now That Vows Have Been Spoke Poem by james watkin

Now That Vows Have Been Spoke

Never let me, dear, wildly stray.
This skittish goat, sweet-loved pet;
Off pastoral, parkland.
Obediant to that divine hold's
Firm will, but of it soft
Through this your own hand!

Aware that, tearing loose from this
More grievous, two hearts from out
Would for what's wrenched be.
His shepherd's; your shepherdess's.
Motions with a patience
'Come follow'; wary!
